Trogir / Weather for May, June, July, August and September! Long-term forecast.

Trogir is one of the cities in Croatia that we gladly visit, especially if we spend holidays in Dalmatia. Trogir is a port city, located off the Adriatic coast, which is reflected in the climate.

This picturesque corner of Croatia is known not only for its historic old town inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, but also for its excellent weather conditions. The weather in Trogir is really favorable for most of the year, which serves tourism.

The city is influenced by the continental Mediterranean climate, which means that the weather conditions are favorable throughout the year. Summer is dry and hot, while in winter you can expect more rainfall, but there are no minus temperatures. Good weather in Trogir for arrival and sightseeing is actually all year round, and the season starts from April and lasts until October.

In spring, Trogir is quite pleasant. In April, thermometers can show up to 18 degrees Celsius. However, the evenings can still be cool, so you should also bring warmer clothes. The probability of rain is also quite high, but with each passing day the weather conditions are getting better. May and June are two perfect months for those who are mainly focused on sightseeing. It is not so hot yet, and temperatures reach over 20 degrees, while the evenings are getting warmer. In turn, the risk of rain is falling every day. Then we also have the largest number of sunny hours per day, which sometimes reaches up to 14.

The hottest months in Trogir are July and August, then it gets really hot. Temperatures reach 30 degrees in the shade, and there is practically no rain. Even in the evening and at night it is warm. Good weather persists in September and October, where thermometers still show about 20 degrees. It is not so hot anymore and sometimes it can rain. Temperatures have fallen since November and the risk of precipitation increases. The rainiest months are November, December, January and February. Then the amount of rainfall in 30 days is at least twice as much as in summer. In the evenings it is chilly, and during the day there are less and less sunlight hours (5-6). As for the winter months, the weather in Trogir is still not bad. Temperatures do not drop practically below 10 degrees during the day, nor do they fall below zero at night. Snowfall is extremely rare here, but rain can be expected. Around March, the temperature is slowly rising, as is the number of sunny hours per day.

As for the water temperature in Trogir, in April it is definitely still too cool for bathing, because it is about 15 degrees. In May it heats up to 18 degrees, but it reaches even more pleasant values in June (22 degrees), when you can easily enjoy sea bathing. The warmest water in the Adriatic Sea in Trogir is in July and August and is even 25 degrees at the time. Warm temperatures persist until October (21 degrees) when you can still go swimming. Then gradually the water in the sea begins to cool. However, even in the winter months, its temperature does not fall below 13 degrees. About March-April, the sea water temperature in Trogir begins to warm up again slowly.
