Valencia is a large city in Spain, third largest after Madrid and Barcelona. The city as an ancient history, having been established as a Roman colony in 138 BC. During the middle ages, the city’s been the capital of Muslim Al-Andalus province and later independent country. It served as temporary capital of Spain twice: once during Napoleonic Wars and once during Spanish Civil War.
