On the island of Corfu, as well as in the whole of Greece, the currency used is the euro. And even if only for this reason, prices will be higher than outside eurozone (save maybe for Switzerland and Britain), but the difference is not astronomical ?
On the other hand, Greece, as well as the island of Corfu itself, is cheaper in price than, for example, Italy or France. This applies to the price of the holiday bought at the travel agency, but also optional excursions or car rental. The food products themselves are also a little cheaper, also meals in restaurants and taverns and souvenirs.
Before the planned vacation, however, it is worth taking a look at local prices.

Food prices in restaurants on Corfu
The capital of Corfu has slightly higher meal prices, especially in restaurants located in the very center. This is certainly influenced by the large number of tourists arriving, for example, from large cruise ships, which stop just in the port there.
The price of eating in the restaurant also depends on whether the place is more or less elegant.
You can easily distinguish them by looking at the tablecloths.
In a tavern they will usually be paper, or they will have none at all. A high-end restaurant will always have cloth tablecloths on its tables. There, you will also be charged a covering fee of around EUR 0.50 per person.
Tips in Greece are not mandatory, but welcome.
Already at the second visit to your favorite tavern, you will be treated by the owners as if you were friends.
